LAHORE – The ‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ program has expanded to 32 districts across Punjab.
The program has added ten new districts, including Rahim Yar Khan, Vehari, Lodhran, Toba Tek Singh, Layyah, Rajanpur, Nankana Sahib, Chiniot, Gujrat, and Khushab.
This initiative provides over 65 government services, including Domicile Certificates, FIR copies, Birth Certificates, Learner’s Driving Licenses, and e-stamping. These services are offered through the PITB-developed Dastak Doorstep Delivery App and a web portal.
Citizens can now access these services at their doorsteps, eliminating the need to visit government offices. This makes the process easier and more convenient, especially for women, elderly citizens, and busy professionals.
Previously, ‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ services were available in key districts like Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, and Sargodha. Citizens can also access the services by calling the helpline at 1202.
PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf said, “The ‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ program aims to improve service delivery through trained representatives, offering a more efficient and user-friendly experience.” He added that the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to making public services more accessible, transparent, and technology-driven.
