One of the Popular Indian Actors, whose full name is Govind Arjun Ahuja, was accidentally shot at his home with his revolver and was taken to the hospital.
Indian media reported that the incident happened early Tuesday morning at around 4:45 AM when the 60-year-old actor and Shiv Sena leader was alone at his Juhu residence.
In an initial statement, Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, explained, “We had a show in Kolkata, and I was already at the airport for our 6 AM flight. Govinda was about to leave when the gun accidentally went off, hitting his leg.”
According to Sinha, the licensed revolver fell while being placed in a cupboard and accidentally discharged. “Thankfully, Govinda only suffered a minor leg injury, and it’s not serious,” he added.
After a minor surgery at the hospital, the bullet was successfully removed from Govinda’s leg.
In the list of top Indian Actors, Govinda is considered one of them. He give some blockbuster movies in the 1990s, he was the main lead in popular movies like Aankhen (1993), Coolie No. 1 (1995), and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (1998). He also starred in major 2000s movies such as Bhagam Bhag (2006) and Partner (2007).
