ISLAMABAD: The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is only a few months away, and Pakistan will host its first big tournament after many years. The matches will start from February 19 to March 9 in three different cities—Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi.
According to reports, Team India is not ready to play in Pakistan. Instead, their matches might be held in the UAE, with Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai being considered as possible venues. This is not surprising since the relationship between the two countries is still tense, and the BCCI is not willing to send its team to Pakistan.
Other than team India all are agree to play ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan. Furthermore, India’s matches, including the Pakistan vs India game, are expected to be held in Dubai. The rest of the matches will go ahead as planned in the three Pakistani cities.
The possible schedule shows that the first match between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played on February 19 in Karachi. If India doesn’t make it to the final, it will be held in Lahore. But if India qualifies, the final will be played in the UAE, although the exact venue hasn’t been confirmed yet.
