ISLAMABAD: During the ongoing crackdown against PTI, Islamabad police arrested Imran Khan sisters, Aleema Khan, Naureen Khan, and Uzma Khan, at D-Chowk on Friday.
As PTI caravans neared the federal capital, local supporters gathered at D-Chowk, prompting the police to use tear gas, leading to multiple arrests.
Earlier, PTI’s official X account announced that Imran Khan sister, Aleema Khan, had been arrested by police at D-Chowk. The account described the situation as a violation of citizens’ fundamental rights under what they called a “fascist regime.”
Aleema Khan was detained for peacefully protesting, the PTI post stated, calling the situation in Pakistan a severe threat to basic freedoms.
