Pakistan Advances to Asian Hockey Champions Trophy Semi-Final After 5-1 Win Over China

In the recent Asian Hockey Champions Trophy, Pakistan team defeated China by 5-1 and secure a spot in the semi-finals, at Moqi Hockey Training Base in Hulunbuir, China on Thursday.

In the beginning of the game, Pakistan team played with attacking intent, and they led 2-0 by halftime. In the second half of the game, green shirts again strikes and hit three more goals, and China was only able to score one score.

From the Pakistan Team, Hannan Shahid and Nadeem Ahmed were the main players in the game, both were able to score 2 goals each. China’s only goal came from GAO Jiesheng in the fourth quarter.

This was Pakistan second consecutive victory, before this game Pakistan defeated Japan in a close game by 2-1 in Asian Hockey Champions Trophy.

In the group stages of the tournament, Pakistan had drawn games against Malaysia and Korea. In their next game, Pakistan will face their arch-rivals India in the final game of group stages on Sunday.

However, Blue Team India is also unbeaten throughout the tournament, which made the upcoming game of Pakistan vs India more interesting as both team will put their all efforts to clinch victory.
