ISLAMABAD: PM Shehbaz Sharif will visit Saudi Arabia from October 29 to 30, following a recent visit to Pakistan by a high-level Saudi delegation led by the Saudi Investment Minister.
According to Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, PM Shehbaz Sharif will be with some other important key Cabinet ministers, he will also attend the 8th Future Investment Initiative (FII) in Riyadh on October 29-30.
This year’s FII theme is named “Infinite Horizons: Investing Today, Shaping Tomorrow,”, which will improve the areas of Artificial Intelligence, robotics, education, energy, finance, and sustainability.
During the two-day visit, PM Shehbaz will also discuss important areas with the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, as well as other senior Saudi officials. The discussion will mainly cover the areas of economic, energy, and defense cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The FII is a well-known platform for countries to improve economic opportunities, attract foreign investments, and promote sustainable development.
