PTI Islamabad Rally is postponed and is shifted to the upcoming date of September 8th. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) delayed the rally after the noc cancellation and road blockage. This decision was announced after when local authorities canceled the event with a no objection certificate (NOC) and blocked roads leading to the capital.
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan announced that the rally had been rescheduled for September 8 following a meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan in Adiala jail.
PTI Secretary General Omar Ayub also confirmed the new date 8th September, and added that the date was changed after Imran Khan’s instructions. He also revealed that the government was also trying to plan a mess at the PTI Islamabad Rally.

After PTI canceled the rally today, the administration of Islamabad allowed them to do a rally on September 8 with a notification that included 40 conditions.
“The Islamabad administration revoked the NOC due to protests of the religious parties. The administration would provide security for the September 8 gathering,” it said.
The notification further said that the rally should respect citizens’ rights, participants are allowed to arrive at 4 pm and will leave at 7 pm.
“It will be the jalsa organizer’s duty to disperse the party workers at the end of the rally. The workers will not be allowed to stay at the rally site on September 8,” it said.

The jalsa will be for public gatherings it will not allow for sit-ins. People should leave the place as the jalsa ends,
“No object of lethal or non-lethal force including batons of any size would be wielded by any participant of the gathering nor any participant shall indulge in violence or clashes. In case of any such incidence of clashes/ violence, the organizers shall be held responsible.
“Organisers are bound to ensure that the participants do not spend the night or subsequent nights there and are dispersed peacefully,” it maintained.
The Islamabad district administration also ordered all schools to close on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rawalpindi imposed Section 144 until August 24, banning public gatherings.
PTI Islamabad President Amir Mughal stated that while the district administration canceled the NOC, PTI had not canceled the rally, insisting on their right to peaceful political protest.
The NOC was revoked based on a report from the district intelligence committee, following a meeting led by Islamabad Chief Commissioner Chaudhry Mohammad Ali Randhawa. The meeting highlighted security concerns, especially with the Bangladesh cricket team in the city, making it difficult to manage large crowds.
Imran Khan had initially planned to hold the rally on August 22, but PTI decided to reschedule after facing challenges in organizing the event in Islamabad.
