ISLAMABAD – Due to PTI Jalsa at D-Chowk, all entry and exit points of the federal capital have been closed, also the major roads connecting twin cities.
Due to the serious situation, the administration of the twin cities decided to close schools and other educational institutes to avoid further risk. The association of private schools in Rawalpindi and Islamabad said student safety is their top priority. They said, “We cannot take any chances as a political party has announced a protest in Islamabad.”

Metro Bus Service Limited:
The Metro Bus Service has been partially closed due to PTI jalsa. It will only run inside Islamabad. The service from Rawalpindi Saddar to IJP Road is off, but it will operate from IJP to Pak Secretariat.
Rangers and Army Deployed:
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced that the army and paramilitary forces have been deployed to maintain law and order in Islamabad. In a press conference, he warned that anyone causing trouble will not be shown any leniency. The police are fully prepared, and security will be strict. He urged PTI leadership to reconsider their protest, as they have until tomorrow.
Naqvi also mentioned that the Malaysian Prime Minister is currently visiting the capital, with high-level delegations from Saudi Arabia and China expected later this month.
