NANKANA SAHIB: Public Holiday news is always exciting for everyone, The district of Nankana Sahib is preparing to celebrate the public holiday on the 555th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak. He was the founder of Sikhism, from November 13 to 16.
To honor this event, Deputy Commissioner Taslim Akhtar Rao announced the public holiday news on 15th November in district Nankana Sahib.
Thousands of Sikh pilgrims from Pakistan and abroad are expected to visit Nankana Sahib, Baba Guru Nanak’s birthplace, for the celebrations.
To make this event safe and secure for all visitors, the district administration is working closely with relevant authorities. Punjab Minister for Minority Affairs Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora and Home Secretary Noorul Amin Mengal recently visited Nankana Sahib to verify the safety arrangements.
They inspected entry and exit points, issued instructions to strengthen security, and received updates from Deputy Commissioner Taslim Akhtar Rao and District Police Officer Syed Nadeem Abbas on the safety measures in place.
