ISLAMABAD: The Rawal Institute of Health Sciences Islamabad (RIHS) has launched a new public health card to help families get quality healthcare.
This program, created in partnership with State Life Insurance, provides a range of healthcare services for an annual fee of just Rs. 12,500.
At the announcement of this program, Rawal Institute of Health Sciences Islamabad Chairman Khaqan Waheed Khawaja briefly explained how this card will benefit families looking for proper treatment, including inpatient and outpatient care, surgical and dental services, and necessary medications.
This program’s main focus is to support low-income families. It will help more than 5,000 families in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. However, they also want to execute this program in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
RIHS is a leading healthcare provider in Islamabad, operating a modern 500-bed teaching hospital and medical college that trains future healthcare professionals.
Since its establishment in 2011, the Rawal General and Dental Hospital has significantly expanded, adding departments like cardiology, pediatrics, and neurosurgery. The hospital continues to grow, creating new units to better serve patients.
