Un General Assembly Shahbaz Sharif the Prime Minister of Pakistan will address the 79th session on September 27 in New York. In the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), the PM will reaffirm Pakistan commitment to multilateralism and the United Nations’ role in promoting global peace, security, and prosperity.
PM Shehbaz Sharif has already left for the New York on Saturday, and the news was shared on X (formerly Twitter) that he is all ready for a busy week. Where he will discuss some important global matters like peace, development, and climate action. In the UN General Assembly Shahbaz Sharif, will take a stand for Pakistan’s opinion and back the country’s goods while strengthening international partnerships.

Pakistan’s Foreign Office recently released a statement regarding the prime minister will address the 193-member UN General Assembly. He will focus on long-standing UN Security Council issues, including the Palestine situation and the Jammu & Kashmir dispute.
Furthermore, he will talk about the financial system and International economics relation. Shehbaz Sharif is expected to urge the international community to make stronger decisions regarding Climate change and rising Islamophobia.
So, the UN General Assembly is providing Pakistan a big platform to share its point of view regarding regional and International matters. Shehbaz Sharif will also highlight Pakistan’s goal to center people in both local and global development plans. He will also share Pakistan’s desire to work will all other state members as they are all set to join the UN Security Council in 2025-26.
