Maryam Nawaz Sharif Meets Swedish Ambassador to Discuss Trade and Collaboration

LAHORE: Swedish Ambassador Alexandra Berg Von Linde met with the Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif in Lahore in Lahore on Wednesday. Both female leaders covered important topics to make a good relationship between Punjab and Sweden in the Trade market.

The discussion brings some agreements in education, healthcare, technology, agriculture, and environmental sustainability.

Ambassador Berg Von Linde praised Punjab’s work on supporting minority rights and empowering women and expressed strong support for Swedish investments in the region.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif highlighted Punjab’s welcoming investment environment, encouraging investors to take advantage of the region’s opportunities. She also wanted to use Sweden’s knowledge to improve Punjab’s environmental practices and boost agricultural output.

The meeting showcased Swedish investors’ growing interest in Punjab. Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb and Sweden’s Honorary Consul General Syed Haider Ali were also present.
