KP Assembly Meeting Turns Violent as Lawmakers Fight

In the KP Assembly, a massive fight broke out between parties, when speaker refused the opposition members to speak on Tuesday. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Assembly session quickly descended into chaos as lawmakers started physically fighting.

Several videos of the fight were shared on social media and TV channels. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI ) Naik Muhammad and Iqbal Wazir were at the center of the fight, were exchanging kicks and punches at each others in the KP assembly.

The session of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Assembly was dismissed for 15 minutes and security forces were called to handle the situation. Provincial ministers also stepped in, trying to calm the situation.

After this incident, two MPs were removed from their positions in the assembly, and an investigation committee was called to discuss the situation. This violent event raises concerns about the behavior of elected officials in the KP Assembly.
