MUMBAI: Bollywood stars Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor have officially announced the news of their separation. This was confirmed by Arjun Kapoor that they are no longer together in a relationship, ending months of rumors.
Recently, at politician Raj Thackeray’s Diwali party in Mumbai, Kapoor was met with cheers of “Malaika” from the crowd. With a smile, he replied, “Nahi abhi single hoon. Relax karo” (No, I’m single now. Relax).
The confirmation comes after reports in May suggested that Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor had ended their relationship. Until now, neither of them had spoken publicly about the split.
His light-hearted comment hints that Kapoor is moving forward and enjoying being single.
This couple started dating in 2018, it was just after Maliaka divorced her ex-husband, Arbaaz Khan. The relationship became public on Arora’s 45th birthday, but now this amazing love story has ended.
On the work front, Kapoor’s next big film, Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty, is set to release on November 1, aligning with the Diwali holiday.
The movie is part of Shetty’s famous cop universe and features a star-studded cast, including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, and Jackie Shroff.
